My first month on this property is officially under my belt, and still every day is a new learning opportunity. A continued THANK YOU for everyone’s time, support, and patience, as I learn the ins and outs of Burnt Store Marina Country Club and Linkside Café!
March was an absolutely blast, with the Luau and St. Patty’s Day Scrambles, the Club Championship play and Awards Ceremony, and with a ton of various restaurant events ranging from Trivia to Bingo to Ladies Night. It’s a whirlwind of activity every day, and this community always shows up to support. It’s tremendous!
We have a ton of projects happening around the property, as well, including:
Clubhouse Work: Carpet cleaning, grout cleaning, updated signage, etc.
Course Work: New sod at the chipping green, a new bulkhead on Heron 3, new tribute trees and build-a-bricks.
Operational Items: New menus, new buffet display ware, and some shifts in standards, expectations, and policies around the property.
We’re working day by day to make this property one that we can all be proud of and trying to keep everyone in-the-know through social media and the website as well!
Of course, the month ahead will be busy, busy, busy, too. There is our Kentucky Derby Day on May 2, our Prime Rib Buffet on May 20, “Surf and Turf” on May 27and so much more.
