The rainy season will be over before we know it, the dry season will soon be upon us, and everyone will be back at Burnt Store Marina. This means the irrigation system will be in full use. Overloading the system can be alleviated by following our lawn watering schedule. The schedule is designed to spread out the water among all users to balance the system usage and ensure everyone gets their water allotment. This schedule is the only allowed watering times for each Condo Association, HOA and individual homeowners. The two exceptions being that new plantings are permitted to be watered for 30 consecutive days, after which time you must return to the watering schedule and for system checks.
The irrigation system is on 24/7 except from 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. daily, when the system does an automatic self-check. If there is a major repair causing significant down time, the community will receive an email blast from Alliant Management with details of the temporary shutdown.
Another reminder: the system has an automatic rain shutoff, as required by law. The system will remain down until the rain sensor resets itself, usually within 24 hours.
