OCTOBER 2026 — LET’S GET THE SEASON STARTED!
Well, golfers, the wait is finally over! The start of another golf season is here at Burnt Store Marina Country Club, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back to the course.
October is always an exciting time around the club. The weather starts to cooperate, our tee sheets begin filling up, and it’s great to see familiar faces back in the Golf Shop, and out enjoying the course. We have a couple of fun events planned to kick off the season, so get your calendars out and mark these dates!
⛳ CROSS COUNTRY SCRAMBLE – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 — 9 A.M.
We’re kicking off the season with our Cross-Country Scramble on October 17. If you haven’t played a Cross-Country Scramble before, you’re in for a fun morning. The format takes us away from the traditional way of playing the course, and adds a little extra strategy, creativity, and, most importantly, fun.
Grab your favorite golfing partners, put together your team, and come out ready to enjoy the first big scramble of the season. It’s a great opportunity to shake off the summer rust, and get back into the swing of things!
🎃 REVENGE OF THE CATS SCRAMBLE – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 — 9 A.M.
And then, just in time for Halloween, we’re bringing back some feline fun with our Revenge of the Cats Scramble! That’s right, Halloween morning will be spent on the golf course. This promises to be a fun and entertaining event, and I encourage everyone to get into the Halloween spirit. Costumes are welcome, so don’t be surprised if you see a few ghosts, goblins, witches, or perhaps even a cat or two wandering around the course!
Bring your sense of humor, your golf game, and maybe a little Halloween luck. We’re looking forward to making this a great way to celebrate Halloween with our golf family.
LOOKING AHEAD
These two events are just the beginning of what promises to be another great season at BSMCC. We have plenty of tournaments, scrambles, clinics, lessons, and other golf activities planned for the months ahead.
As always, the Golf Shop is here to help you get ready for the season, whether you need to update your equipment, refresh your golf wardrobe, schedule a lesson, or simply stop in and say hello.
