Hi everyone! I’m Angie DeWitt, and I’m excited to have joined the board in April 2026. I’m really looking forward to getting involved, meeting more members of the community, and contributing in a meaningful way.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to assist the board with the search for a new general manager for the golf course. That experience gave me a great appreciation for the thought and care that goes into board service here, and it’s really what sparked my interest in getting more involved. I enjoyed working through the process, and seeing firsthand how much impact the board has on our community.
I recently retired after 17 years as Chief Human Resources Officer at a midwestern regional bank with about $50 billion in assets. It was a rewarding chapter of my career, and I had the opportunity to work with many talented people, while helping shape the organization’s culture and leadership. Before moving into HR, I spent several years in finance roles, which gave me a strong foundation in how businesses operate and grow.
I’m a CPA by background, with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business, along with an MBA focused on Finance and Accounting. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to serve on a variety of boards, both nonprofit organizations and homeowners associations for more than 25 years. I’ve always enjoyed being part of a team that helps guide decisions, supports communities, and plans for the future.
Now that I’m retired, I’m excited to dedicate more time to things I enjoy, and this community is a perfect fit. My husband, Kimm, and I love taking advantage of everything it has to offer, especially golf and boating. It’s a wonderful place, and we are grateful to be part of it.
I’m looking forward to working with fellow board members, and getting to know more of you. Please don’t hesitate to say hello if you see me around—I’m always happy to connect!
