Our Tribute Tree Program continues to grow, with nine new trees planted this past March. These trees were purchased several months ago; however, planting was delayed ensuring optimal weather conditions and proper irrigation for successful establishment.
The recent additions include a variety of Christmas Palms, Pygmy Palms (in single, double and triple configurations), as well as a Royal Palm. Donors selected their preferred tree type and planting location from a list developed by our golf course maintenance team.
Each donor also chose a personalized message, which has been inscribed on a brass leaf displayed on the Burnt Store Marina Tree located in the Country Club.
Additional trees have already been purchased. Once we reach a minimum of six or more, they will be ordered, delivered and planted to help reduce delivery cost.
Proper care is essential to the success of these plantings. Daily watering is being handled by our golf course maintenance crew, and we sincerely appreciate their continued dedication and attention.
If you are interested in participating in the Tribute Tree Program, please visit the Administration Office at Burnt Store Marina Country Club for more information.
These trees have made a meaningful enhancement to the golf course, and we extend our sincere thanks to all donors for their support in making this program a success.
