MAY GOLF EVENTS AT BURNT STORE MARINA COUNTRY CLUB
May is shaping up to be a great month to get out and enjoy the course here at Burnt Store Marina Country Club, with a couple of fun events you won’t want to miss.
First up is our Cross-Country Scramble on Saturday, May 16, at 9 a.m. This is always a good time and a little different than your typical round. We’ll mix up the course with some creative routing and unique holes, so you’ll get to see Burnt Store Marina CC in a whole new way.
Then we wrap up the month with our Memorial Day Scramble on Monday, May 25, at 7:45 a.m. It’s a great way to spend the holiday weekend – good golf, good company, and a chance to come together as a club. The scramble format makes it easy for everyone to join in, no matter your skill level.
Make sure to sign up early for both events – we’re expecting a great turnout. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!
GOLF TIP OF THE MONTH
When hitting your irons and wedges, you want to make sure that you rotate through the ball and finish on your front side. This will help compress the ball and have more control.
