Burnt Store Marina CC News

A big HELLO for my first Beacon article!

This property is moving and grooving this month, with a calendar of fun events, ranging from fun golf events to the competitive club championship; from Bingo and Ladies’ Night to the crowd-favorite Prime Rib Buffet – always something new happening here at BSMCC!

We encourage the community to come out and meet some of the new faces we’ve introduced to the Burnt Store Marina CC family as well, including:

ALYSSA ESHLEMAN (ME!)

General Manager

New to the property and the area, coming from Maryland, to bring my knowledge of the industry, experience in restaurants, events, and marketing, and overall enthusiasm for the opportunity to help this property and clubhouse to become a beacon of pride for the community.

CHEF ROGER

Executive Chef

He’s only been here a few weeks but, Chef Roger has already done a tremendous amount of work training some of the younger kitchen team members, revitalizing the kitchen, and streamlining processes to improve guest experience. His established reputation and vast restaurant knowledge will be key in making sure offerings are seasonal, product is fresh, and service is prompt for future visits to the Linkside Café.

In April, we’ll also have the opportunity to introduce everyone to our new Golf Course Superintendent. Keep an eye out for that formal announcement, and for the life he’ll be able to bring to our 27-hole property.

I want to personally thank everyone for being so welcoming to us newbies, and for your trust in our ability to grow alongside this community. And thank you, proactively, for your patience and understanding as we learn the whos, whats, whens, wheres, whys and hows, of this property. You’ll have our best, but we know that ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day.’
