JUNE GOLF EVENTS AT BURNT STORE MARINA COUNTRY CLUB
June is shaping up to be a fun and unique month on the course at Burnt Store Marina Country Club, with a pair of events you won’t want to miss.
We’ll kick things off on Saturday, June 6, with one of the most talked-about formats of the year – our Backwards Scramble. Starting at 9 a.m., the course will be set up to be played in reverse, giving players a completely different look and challenge on familiar holes. It’s a great way to mix things up, test your creativity, and enjoy a round that’s anything but ordinary.
Then on Saturday, June 14, we’ll celebrate Flag Day with a 9 a.m. Scramble. This event is all about fun, camaraderie, and a little friendly competition. Whether you’re coming out with your regular group, or joining up with others, it’s a great way to spend the morning and enjoy everything the club has to offer.
Both events are perfect opportunities to get out, have some laughs, and be part of the great community here at Burnt Store Marina Country Club. Be sure to sign up in the golf shop, and we’ll see you on the tee!
Golf Tip: Control Your Tempo
One of the easiest ways to improve consistency is to slow down your swing. A smooth, balanced tempo helps you make better contact and keeps your timing in sync. Think “easy back, easy through” rather than trying to hit the ball harder – distance will come from solid contact.
