
Would you like to be a superhero in your community, helping your neighbors? The Burnt Store Marina Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is made up of your neighbors who have completed a Federal Emergency Management Agency approved program. This program provides them with the basic skills and equipment to prepare for, and respond to our neighborhood needs in the aftermath of a disaster when emergency services may not be immediately available.
Free on-line and hands-on training is provided to help you and your neighbors prepare for disasters such as hurricanes, severe weather, fires, or other large-scale emergencies. Burnt Store Marina CERT is a vital part of our community-based disaster resilience, providing an organized, trained group of volunteers who can assist in reducing the impact of disasters on our community.
